#1 Start from the inside
Eat healthy food that is rich in protein like fish and beans. Some vitamins (A, B, C, and E) have vital roles for healthy hair. Nutritional deficiencies can affect hair growth. For example, insufficient zinc can cause hair loss.
#2 Don’t wash your hair everyday
Shampoos are used to wash away dirt, but it can also take the natural oils. Natural oils are essential to keep your hair healthy and will make your hair prone to breaking. Wash your hair 3-4 times a week.
#3 Always use conditioner after shampoo
Shampoo opens the hair’s cuticle, which is why you need conditioner to seal it. Conditioner helps locking the nutrients in to make the hair healthy and shiny.
#4 Avoid heat
Go easy with the heat styling tools. Hot tools will damage your hair, leading to breakage. To reduce the damage from heat always use heat protectant beforehand. And don’t forget to set the tools to lowest heat possible.
#5 Trim your hair once in a while
Trimming your hair will get rid of split ends, making your hair looks healthier. Breakage can cause the hair losing length, shine, and volume.

You’ve put your hair through some hard times (weather, heat, chemicals), it’s time to pamper your hair. Apply hair mask or oil weekly to make your hair healthier and well nourished. It can also repair damaged hair.
